✨ The story of IHSAN ✨

Our story begins in a home just like yours, a home where every day you hear “bismillah” and “alhamdulillah”, with the mission of guiding our children along the right path and passing on what matters most to those we love the most: our children.

We are a couple of parents, blessed with two treasures: Adam and Sarah. Like many families, we very quickly realised that our children’s spiritual upbringing could no longer be put off until later. In a world that is moving too fast, too far, too far from Allah… we had to act. For if we, as parents, do not guide our children towards true Islam—the Islam that soothes, enlightens and uplifts—then other influences will take our place. And often, these will come from screens, social media, or distorted messages, far removed from the teachings of our Prophet ﷺ.

We wanted something different for them. We wanted to be able to talk to our children about Allah without it being complicated. We wanted to live Islam gently and in simple moments: a game, a colouring book, a recitation, a bedtime story. We wanted faith to be a happy memory for them. But when we looked for resources to support them, we soon realised that something was missing. There was nothing truly suited to our values, our culture, or our vision of education. So, with our modest means, we made a decision: if this solution didn’t exist, we would create it.

That’s how IHSAN was born. For over a year, we tested, started over, prayed, doubted, and hoped. We wanted to offer Muslim parents a comprehensive resource that would help them pass on Islam with kindness, joy and simplicity. No heaviness, no rigidity. Just practical, tailored tools: books, cards, colouring sheets, audio recordings, games… everything needed to make faith feel natural, alive and present in children’s daily lives.

But IHSAN is more than just a shop. It is a mission. It is an invitation to put Allah back at the heart of the home. It is a project designed to help every parent anchor faith in their child’s heart from the earliest years, without pressure, without coercion, but with love, gentleness and consistency. Our ambition is great, but our intention is even greater. We’re not just looking to sell. We want to build. To serve. And to be part of this generation of families who choose to protect their children’s fitrah in a world that seeks to erase it.
